But Brazil legend admits contact with Eastlands club
Brazil legend Ronaldo has played down talk he could join Manchester City.
The experienced striker, who celebrates his 32nd birthday later this month, is currently without a club after his AC Milan contract expired over the summer.
Ronaldo finished the Serie A campaign on the sidelines after rupturing knee ligaments in February, although the World Cup winner is now ready to begin working on his match fitness.

With Ronaldo seemingly on the lookout for a new club, City - who have recently come into wealth following their takeover from the Abu Dhabi United Group - had been tipped to offer the striker a contract.
However, despite Ronaldo conceding he had been in contact with the Eastlands club, he is currently focusing his efforts on his rehabilitation programme - not his next pay cheque.
"There was some contact [with City]," revealed Ronaldo. "I have some projects but I am focused on getting over this injury.
"In clinical terms, my knee has recovered. Now I need to get back to having the physical condition of an athlete.
"This is the part where the player suffers the most, it's effectively pre-season training, with a lot of physical work.
"All I can think about is playing again. If not, I wouldn't go through all this sacrifice and all this pain."
