Goalkeeper would not like to be stuck on substitutes' bench
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has admitted he would consider another loan move if he does not play regularly.
Hart spent last season at Birmingham and was rewarded for a series of assured performances with a place in the England World Cup squad.
Having now returned to his parent club, Hart is hoping to establish himself as Roberto Mancini's preferred choice between the posts.
However, the 23-year-old faces fierce competition from Shay Given, with Mancini recently admitting that he had yet to decide on his No.1 for the new campaign.
Hart is ready for the challenge but concedes the prospect of sitting on the substitutes' bench is unappetising.
"It doesn't really interest me if I'm honest, I've played a lot of football now and that's all I want to do," he told
Sportsweek.
"At the moment all I'm doing is playing football in the first team."
Asked whether he would consider another loan move, Hart said: "It wouldn't be up to me, Manchester City are in charge of me at the moment but if I wasn't playing, I suppose I would have to reconsider."
