Agent dismisses speculation striker will join Milan in the summer
Mario Balotelli's agent has confirmed the player will not need to undergo surgery on his knee.
The Manchester City striker is facing at least another month on the sidelines after being ordered to rest by staff after suffering a reoccurrence of the injury.
The 20-year-old former Inter Milan star was injured while making his debut for the club last August and now the player who netted a hat-trick against Aston Villa at the end of December could make his comeback in the Manchester derby in February.
City boss Roberto Mancini admitted to being worried by the news that the Italian will be out of action for four weeks.
And agent, Mino Raiola revealed to
Sky Italia: "At the moment, we are excluding surgery.
"We are doing deep scans, but for the moment we have ruled out the possibility of the player going under the knife."
Speculation
Raiola also dismissed speculation that Balotelli will be moving to the San Siro to join AC Milan either now or in the summer.
He said: "The attacking trio of (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, (Antonio) Cassano and Balotelli at Milan? It's a dream at this moment.
"Could it be done in the summer? I doubt it. Mario feels good at City and I expect him to remain at Eastlands."
