Striker has failed to score in his last 10 games

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has no complaints with the performances of Edin Dzeko and expects the £27million man to soon end his goal drought. The Bosnian drew another blank against Liverpool on Tuesday and has now gone 10 games since his last goal after netting 13 times in his first 16 matches this season. Dzeko was overshadowed by strike partner Sergio Aguero in midweek, but completed the full 90 minutes when the latter was replaced 18 minutes from time. It seemed a strange move, however, Mancini is pleased with the man he signed from Wolfsburg 12 months ago. "I am happy with Edin," he said ahead of Sunday's FA Cup third-round derby against Manchester United. "He didn't score against Liverpool, but he was really strong. "He played and worked for the team. This is very important for me. I am sure he will start to score very quickly."
