Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany claims he is unconcerned by what Manchester United do against Aston Villa on Sunday, or indeed for the remainder of the season.
Title chasers City moved to within two points of United in the Premier League race on Saturday following a convincing 6-1 win over Norwich at Carrow Road.
The win followed their 4-0 triumph over West Brom on Wednesday, but United will restore their five-point lead at the top if they beat Villa at Old Trafford.
Kompany, though, is happy his team are performing well again after bouncing back from three league games without a win, and hopes they can maintain their form for their remaining four games and beyond.
"We're happy and everyone's got a smile on their face," he told
Sky Sports.
"I don't care (about United's results). We just have to show what we're capable of and finish the season without regrets.
"This says a lot about how we want to finish this season and about how we want to start next season."
