Man City's Edin Dzeko has dismissed reports he is closing on a move to Milan as speculation and says he has not spoken to the club.

Bosnian denies holding talks with Serie A giants

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has dismissed reports that he is closing on a move to AC Milan as speculation and says neither he or his manager have talked to the Serie A giants. Sead Susic, an agent claiming to be acting on behalf of the frontman, was quoted on Wednesday as saying that a deal to take him to Italy had a '70 per cent' chance of going through. Milan are in the market for a new striker after Zlatan Ibrahimovic departed the club for Paris St German this week. City firmly denied Susic's claims later on Wednesday, insisting they had received no offer from Milan for the Bosnia international and had never heard of the agent.

Speculation

And Dzeko has now also poured cold water on the reports, insisting he is focused on the Premier League club. The 26-year-old told his official website: "After new speculation about my departure from City and the statements of individuals, who are talking like they are my manager, I would like to inform the public that I have not had any negotiations with Milan. "My manager is Irfan Redzepagic and neither of us are pushing for my departure from City. "I'm only focused on Manchester City and I do not care about media speculation, especially when it comes from people who have nothing to do with me."
