Raheem Sterling has arrived in Adelaide to link up with his new team-mates on Manchester City’s pre-season tour of Australia.
The England winger, who completed his £49m transfer to City on Tuesday, landed at Adelaide Airport shortly after 5pm local time and is meeting the rest of the squad at the team hotel.
City trained in Adelaide earlier on Thursday and will fly to Melbourne on Friday ahead of their friendly against Melbourne City.
Sterling could feature in that game, which is live on Sky Sports, and will almost certainly play some part in the International Champions Cup fixtures against Roma and Real Madrid next week.
The 20-year-old made 52 appearances for Liverpool last season, scoring 11 goals and contributing 10 assists.
In the previous season, the former Queen’s Park Rangers trainee scored 10 goals and added nine assists in 38 matches for Liverpool.
