Midfielder keen to help loan club win promotion

Rotherham United have extended the loan deal of Middlesbrough midfielder Josh Walker until the end of the season. Walker has scored twice in seven appearances since joining the Millers last month and has been enjoying the chance to play regular first-team football. He had featured just once for Boro this season and is now aiming to play his part in helping Rotherham win promotion to League One. "From the first minute I have been here the lads have really helped me settle in," Walker told the club's official website. "It is a great feeling being back in the automatic promotion places, we're now hoping to push on and I am grateful at still being here to help the lads do just that. "I wanted to come here, play some games and to get on the scoresheet has been a bonus. "It doesn't matter who gets the goals from now until the end of the season, as long as we are in League One."
