Estonian closes on Riverside switch
Estonia international Tarmo Kink has passed a medical with Middlesbrough, according to the agent brokering the move.
Kink is one of the most highly-rated foreign players in Hungary but he now looks to be on his way out of Gyori ETO, where he has played for 18 months.
Skysports.com understands that the 24-year-old played for Boro in a behind-closed-doors match against Hearts last week.
It seems Kink has sufficiently impressed and Hungarian sources claim a fee of around £250,000 has been agreed.
Great results
Now Jozsef Kiss, an agent working for ETO on the deal, has confirmed that Kink has passed his medical.
"Tarmo Kink had a detailed medical examintion and he passed them all with great results," Kiss told
NB1.
"There are some questions left to be answered, but everything is in place with Middlesbrough."
Boro are yet to confirm an interest in Kink, but it seems they could be ready to complete a deal for the Estonia winger.
