Bosnian midfielder says he is joining Middlesbrough
SV Ried midfielder Anel Hadzic claims he is on the verge of joining Championship club Middlesbrough.
The 22-year-old Bosnian, who holds an Austrian passport, insists he could not turn down the prospect of joining Tony Mowbray's side.
The talented midfielder was a player in demand with the likes of FC Copenhagen, Cologne and Palermo all linked with his signature.
Hadzic is reportedly flying to England on Wednesday and he expects to join the Riverside club upon completion of a routine medical.
Opportunity
"I'm going abroad, my next club is Middlesbrough," he told
Sport10.
"I was quite surprised when I heard this club was interested in me. I'd be stupid if I would say no to such an opportunity.
"Now I have to pass my medical tests and then I'll be able to sign."
