Emmanuel Ledesma is to leave Middlesbrough when his contract expires at the end of the month, the club have confirmed.
The midfielder made just two appearances for the club as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League and joins Dean Whitehead in leaving this summer.
The Argentinian midfielder made 64 appearances for the club after arriving from Walsall in 2012 but spent time on loan at Rotherham and Brighton to look for game time last season.
Club captain Jonathan Woodgate is also out of contract but he is expected to be offered a new deal by manager Aitor Karanka while Seb Hines is free to find a new club after a loan deal with Orlando expired.
Karanka told the Gazette: "With Woody, I have to speak to him and the club.
"I've always said that he can do whatever he wants here because he's a Middlesbrough man, and I'm going to help him with whatever he wants.
"If he wants to keep playing, then I'll try to convince the club or if he wants to join us as a member of staff I'm going to help him, because I think for the future of Middlesbrough Football Club Woody can be a good person here."
