Fulham have completed the signing of Cyrus Christie from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee, subject to deadline day clearance.
Christie has penned a three-and-a-half year deal which will keep the right-back at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2021 and the Championship side hold the option for a further 12 month extension.
After a three-year stay with Derby, the Republic of Ireland international moved to Middlesbrough last summer and has made 25 Championship appearances for Boro.
However, Tony Pulis has decided the defender can join a Championship rival.
Tony Khan, Fulham's director of Football Operations, said: "I am very excited to welcome Cyrus into the Fulham family on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
"He is a fantastic young player who brings both an international pedigree and a wealth of Championship experience with him. I can't wait for him to join us and help the squad continue to push for promotion."
Christie could make his debut for the Whites against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
