Fulham will pick up results soon, says American midfielder
Clint Dempsey believes it is just a matter of time before Fulham end their poor run of results and start winning games.
The United States international has seen his side fail to win in any of their four Premier League matches this season.
They also drew 1-1 with FC Twente in their first group game of the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Their task does not get any easier this weekend as they welcome ruthless Manchester City to Craven Cottage on Sunday.
Martin Jol's team have failed to provide a killer instinct in their last couple of games against Blackburn Rovers and FC Twente, while Roberto Mancini's City have scored 15 goals in their four top-flight encounters.
Dempsey is the club's joint leading goalscorer this season with three goals and the attacking midfielder is adamant that things will change.
Keep going
He said: "You've just got to keep going and I think eventually it will start to fall for us.
"If things keep going the way they are going, we're going to start getting wins.
"We need results now, especially with where we are in the table.
"We're going to go out there, try and do our best to get as many points as we can.
"The good thing is we're creating chances. Eventually they are going to fall for us."
