Charlton captain Johnnie Jackson has revealed the club's players intend to reimburse the supporters who attended Tuesday night's 5-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town.

The heavy defeat to Huddersfield left Charlton in 23rd place in the Championship, three points from safety and without a win in their last 10 matches in all competitions.

On Saturday, Charlton were dumped out of the FA Cup by League One Colchester United and Jackson insists the club's fans deserve better following their latest disappointment.

"We are going to reimburse fans who travelled up to support us. I will arrange this with the club + they will let you know how to be refunded," Jackson said via his official Twitter account.
