Jorge Teixeira leaves Standard Liege for Charlton Athletic

Jose Riga has gone back to his old club Standard Liege to bring centre-back Jorge Teixeira to Charlton.
The 29-year-old Portuguese defender follows Roger Johnson, Diego Poyet and Rhys Williams in moving to The Valley this window after signing until the summer of 2019.
Teixeira, who lists Maccabi Haifa among his former clubs, played for Riga in Belgium last season and the pair have now been reunited at the Addicks.
