Charlton boss Lee Bowyer given three-match touchline ban

Charlton manager Lee Bowyer has been handed a three-match touchline ban by the FA following an incident during his side's 2-1 win at AFC Wimbledon on February 23.

Bowyer confronted referee Chris Kavanagh at the Cherry Red Records Stadium before exchanging words with the official.

He subsequently received a second yellow card and was dismissed from the bench.

Bowyer was found to have used abusive and/or insulting language towards the match referee in both the 46th minute of the game and following his dismissal.
