West Ham have appointed former Arsenal and England physio Gary Lewin as their new head of medical services.
The vastly-experienced Lewin arrives at the London Stadium having spent 22 years as a physio at Arsenal and six years with the England set-up.
The 53-year-old, who replaces Stijn Vandenbroucke, was on West Ham's books as a youngster and is delighted to have returned to his former club.
"I am really looking forward to it," Lewin said. "I have met Slaven a few times down the years, most memorably when I was sat on the bench when his Croatia team beat England at Wembley in 2007 to stop us qualifying for Euro 2008!
"Despite that, I am looking forward greatly to working with Slaven and also with Julian Dicks and Chris Woods, who I know from my time in football, his other backroom staff and all the players."
