New Zealand ace waiting
New Zealand international defender Winston Reid has admitted his future with West Ham is up in the air.
The Hammers were relegated from the Premier League after Sunday's 3-2 loss to Wigan and although the defender's preference is to remain at West Ham, he is prepared to accept any decision that comes his way.
"Relegation here is such a massive thing. I don't think people understand it really but it just turns a club upside down," Reid told
3news.
"If you get a manager that tells you, 'I don't think I'll need your services for next season', then you're going to have to find something new aren't you?
"Because I'm only 22 I don't really want to. I would rather be playing football regularly."
Reid's first season into his three-year deal at Upton Park has been punctuated by injuries and managed only 12 appearances in all competitions.
A number of clubs from Italy, Germany and the Premiership are reportedly interested in the All White, but the player has denied receiving any offers to date.
