Spurs flop ready to revive career with Hammers
New West Ham winger David Bentley is keen to rebuild his career after arriving at Upton Park from Tottenham on a season-long loan deal.
The former England international, 27, has dropped down to the Championship after being frozen out at White Hart Lane.
"I've had a few low points over the last few years and hopefully I can rebuild as West Ham are trying to do, hopefully it can be the perfect relationship," Bentley told
West Ham TV.
"I'm trying to rebuild my career like West Ham are trying to rebuild themselves as a football club, so hopefully we can go hand-in-hand."
Bentley revealed he could make a permanent switch to Upton Park if his loan spell is a success.
"Of course I would definitely consider staying here," he added. "If they consider keeping me then I would definitely consider it."
