Watford have today confirmed they'll play Real Sociedad in the Graham Taylor Trophy at Vicarage Road on August 5

Taylor, who died in January aged 72, had two spells in charge of Watford, guiding them to second in the first division in the 1982-83 season and to the 1984 FA Cup final before winning promotion to the Premier League in 1999.

As well as managing England, Taylor also managed Wolves and had two stints at Aston Villa between 1987-1990 and 2002-2003.

Villa will also host a tribute match to Taylor, against Watford on July 29, the match having been switched from Vicarage Road because of pitch renovation. Profits from the game will go to charity.
