Watford have shelved their interest in Dunfermline defender Sol Bamba.
The Hornets had Bamba on trial at Vicarage Road and he is believed to have impressed Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd.
Watford were believed to have agreed a deal for the Ivorian defender, but Pars chief Jim McIntyre has revealed the Championship side have pulled the plug on any move for Bamba.
"The transfer was agreed," McIntyre said. "But for whatever reason, known only to them, they have decided to pull the plug on it."
