Hornets ready to loan out defender

Skysports.com understands Watford are ready to send out young defender Tom Aldred on another loan spell. Aldred has recently returned to Vicarage Road after a successful two-month spell at Stockport. The highly-rated 20-year-old made seven appearances for Stockport and Watford are prepared to farm him out again so that he can get valuable first-team action under his belt. Aldred, who joined Watford from Carlisle last summer, is well down the pecking order at Vicarage Road and they are keen to see him continue his development with a new spell out on loan. The player's agent, Clive Hart, has confirmed Watford are willing to loan out Aldred and that the Scotland Under-19 international is considering his next move. "Watford have indicated they are willing to let Tom go out on loan again and we are assessing our options," Hart told skysports.com. "Tom enjoyed his spell at Stockport and all he wants to be doing is to be playing football on a regular basis."
