Burton's injury problems will be eased slightly by the return of Lloyd Dyer and Cauley Woodrow against in form Norwich.

Winger Dyer and forward Woodrow both missed the defeat at Brighton with calf complaints, with Dyer also absent for the previous game against Wolves. On-loan Brighton striker Chris O'Grady also comes back into the squad after being ineligible against his parent club.

Defender Ben Turner (ankle) and midfielder Jackson Irvine (foot) are among a handful of players nursing knocks from last weekend but Brewers boss Nigel Clough hopes they will remain available.

Defenders John Brayford (knee), Kyle McFadzean (toe) and Damien McCrory (hamstring) are expected to remain out.

Norwich forward Nelson Oliveira faces up to six weeks out with a fractured foot.

Striker Steven Naismith (hamstring), midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu (thigh) and winger Matt Jarvis (hamstring) are also not available, while full-back Ivo Pinto has a foot problem.

James Maddison is expected to be in the squad following the midfielder's back injury.
