Wolves v Sheffield United preview: Championship clash live on Sky Sports Football
Thursday 2 April 2020 11:07, UK
Wolves could put Benik Afobe straight into the team for the Sky Bet Championship clash against Sheffield United.
The striker has returned to his former club on loan from Bournemouth until the end of the season. And head coach Nuno Espirito Santo must decide whether to change a winning side after the league leaders' 1-0 victory at Ipswich. Defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh continues his recovery from an ankle problem.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has no new injury or suspension problems following the midweek home defeat to Aston Villa. Midfielders Ryan Leonard and Lee Evans both made their home debuts and are expected to resume, while winger Ricky Holmes is pushing for his first Blades start after stepping off the bench.
Striker Ched Evans has recovered from the ankle injury that kept him out since September and is hoping to be included in Wilder's plans. Midfielder David Brooks (glandular fever) and defender Kieron Freeman (knee) remain unavailable.
Opta stats

The Blades haven't done a Football League double over Wolves since the 1989/90 season.
Nottingham Forest ended Wolves' 11 game unbeaten home run (W9 D2) in their last home league game, they haven't lost two in a run at Molineux since February 2017.
Sheffield United are winless in their last 11 Championship matches when facing a side starting that day top of the table (D4 L7), with their last win of this kind coming in October 2003 against West Bromwich Albion.
The Blades have won just two of their last 12 league games (D4 L6), this is after 11 wins in their previous 14 (L3).
Chris Wilder's only previous managerial trip to Molineux saw his Northampton side - then of League Two - win 3-2 at Wolves in the League Cup in August 2014.
Prutton's prediction
Now this should be an interesting game. Wolves got back to winning ways last weekend but still don't look at their fluent best, although they're still 11 points clear!
Sheffield United will have a go, as they always do, and this should be an entertaining game at Molineux. It will be close, but I think Wolves will edge it.
David Prutton predicts: 2-1 with Leon Clarke to score first (70/1 with Sky Bet)
