Sunderland defender Tyias Browning has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury.
The on-loan Everton defender limped off during Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa and will now return to Merseyside for treatment.
"Ty Browning will be out for the rest of the season with his groin," manager Chris Coleman said. "He has done exactly the same thing as Darron Gibson - that is a blow."
Browning has been a regular in the Sunderland side under Coleman and previous Sunderland boss Simon Grayson, making 29 appearances in total this season.
Sunderland are bottom of the Sky Bet Championship - four points adrift of safety - going into the weekend's fixtures.
