Watch on Sky Sports Football or Main Event from 12pm on Saturday

Leeds v Brentford

Leeds will be without defender Barry Douglas for their Sky Bet Championship home game against Brentford on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Football from 12pm.

The left-back sustained a hamstring injury during the midweek win at Hull and will be sidelined until after the international break.

Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has no other new injuries, but striker Kemar Roofe (calf), midfielder Pablo Hernandez (hamstring) and defender Gaetano Berardi (knee) are still unavailable. Striker Patrick Bamford will be out until the new year after damaging knee ligaments during an U23s game last month.

Brentford pair Said Benrahma and Ollie Watkins are available again and are expected to feature. Benrahma missed Tuesday's home draw against Birmingham through suspension and fellow forward Watkins was out with a toe injury.

Manager Dean Smith must decide whether to recall Daniel Bentley in goal or stick with Luke Daniels after dropping the former in midweek. Sergi Canos and Alan Judge are hoping to retain their starting places after returning against Birmingham, while Rico Henry (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

Opta stats

  • Leeds have won their last two home league games against Brentford in the previous two seasons, winning both 1-0.
  • Brentford haven't lost consecutive league matches against Leeds since December 1950.
  • Leeds (22 pts) have made their best start to a league season since 2009-10 in the third tier, when they won 27 points from the first 11 games, eventually sealing promotion.
  • Brentford are winless in seven away league games (D4 L3), since a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest in April.
  • Seven of Leeds' last eight league goals have been scored in the second half of games. Indeed, only West Brom (19) have scored more after the interval than Leeds (13) in the Championship this season.
  • Brentford have scored more goals in the opening 45 minutes of games this season than any other Championship side (10).

Prutton's prediction

Leeds are back on top of the table thanks to their win at Hull on Tuesday night. They only edged it thanks to Tyler Roberts' excellent strike but they could easily have had a few more and still look good value for promotion.

Brentford are not quite flying as they were a few weeks ago and they are still yet to win on the road all season. That record needs to improve but I cannot see that happening at Elland Road.
