Blackpool boss happy to stay put
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson says talk of a return to Leicester City is 'pure speculation'.
Following Martin Allen's departure as manager last week, former Foxes defender Grayson has been mooted as a candidate to fill the vacancy at The Walkers Stadium.
Grayson, who made in excess of 200 appearances during five years as a Leicester player, has performed an admirable job in his first managerial role at Blackpool.
He understands the reason for the link, but has stressed he is happy to stay in his post at Bloomfield Road.
"The link goes together with me doing well as a manager, and also having played for them," said Grayson.
Working hard
"But it's pure speculation, and that's all it is. I'm working as hard as I can here, and hopefully I'll carry on doing that for a long time."
There have also been claims Grayson is unhappy with his current contract with The Seasiders, but he insists it is not a problem that is troubling him.
"Like any manager or any player, you are always wanting a better contract, aren't you? Everyone in life wants a better contract," added Grayson.
"I've worked a situation with the club we've been happy with, and it's obviously an ongoing situation, but it's not a major issue.
"It's probably been blown out of proportion. I'll keep working as hard as I have been, either with or without a contract."
