Striker says Championship side are interested in him
Former Austria international striker Sanel Kuljic has admitted he could sign for an unnamed Championship club.
The 32-year-old forward currently plays in the Austrian top-flight for SC Wiener Neustadt, but he has been told he can leave the club unless he agrees a pay-cut.
Kuljic, who has scored eight goals in 14 appearances this season, is under contract until the end of the campaign but could leave in January.
"I have different options, I am in touch with a very interested second-tier club from England," he told newspaper
Kronen Zeitung.
"I had been told I would only play on if I agree on lower wages, but I will not sign such a new deal.
"This is a bit weird, I never experienced this any time before. There was nothing wrong, I have had good performances.
"Now I have to make the best out of it."
Kuljic has been linked with a move to Spain, while Austrian side Kapfenberger SV are also thought to be interested in him.
