Little-used winger leaves Tykes by mutual consent
Mounir El Haimour has left Barnsley by mutual consent after making just three appearances this season.
The winger joined the Tykes in June 2008 and went on to make 20 appearances for the club.
But his contract has been cancelled after the 29-year old failed to feature for the Championship outfit since last August.
A club statement read: "Barnsley Football Club would like to thank Mounir for his services and wish him every success in the future."
Meanwhile, Hugo Colace has landed a notable hat-trick after being named as the Supporters Trust Player of the Year.
The midfielder had already picked up the club's Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year awards after a fine season.
Defender Luke Potter has been named as the Supporters Trust Young Player of the Year.
