Former boss focused on Vale
Micky Adams has played down a possible return to manage Leicester, insisting that he is happy in his current role at Port Vale.
Adams managed the Foxes to promotion to the Premier League in 2003, although they were relegated straight back down the following season after an 18th placed finish, but he is held in high regard at the Walkers Stadium for being the last manager to achieve that feat.
Leicester had a successful season after promotion from League One, finishing in the play-off positions in the Championship despite an exit to Cardiff at the semi-final stage; however they have lost manager Nigel Pearson after his move to Hull City.
Another former Foxes hero Simon Grayson was linked with a move to Leicester from Leeds, but he has dismissed the rumours, and Vale chairman Bill Bratt had previously stated that he felt Adams would stay with the club.
The 48-year-old also pledged to stay at Vale Park, stating that he was only focused on their League Two campaign in the coming season.
"I don't comment on speculation. I am Port Vale manager and my focus is on preparing the team for the 2010/11 season," he told
