Sheffield Wednesday have signed Northern Ireland youngster Paul McElroy on a one-year deal.
The left winger, who can also play at left-back, will sign for the Owls on July 1 and is expected to form part of the club's development squad next season.
He told the club's official website: "I played in a couple of trial games if you like earlier this year and thankfully did well.
"I was really impressed with the place and I already think I have a good feel for Sheffield Wednesday.
"I'm a left winger primarily - that is my favourite position - but I have also played at left back.
"I want to get a good pre-season under the belt now and my aim is to play in the first team for Wednesday."
McElroy came through the youth ranks at Hull and signed a professional contract with the Premier League club last summer.
