A round-up of Saturday's Sky Bet Championship, as MK Dons claimed an impressive win, Leeds were denied and Brentford left it late.

The Dons put four past Rotherham having stunned their hosts with Dean Bowditch getting their third goal after just 35 minutes. Carl Baker scored in the second half to seal a 4-1 win.

Elsewhere, two stoppage time goals secured a point for Brentford at home to Ipswich while Sam Vokes was on target to give Burnley a share of the spoils at Elland Road.

QPR suffered a 2-0 defeat in their first game back in the Championship, away at Charlton, but Hull started their bid for an instant return to the Premier League with a 2-0 victory at home to Huddersfield.

Bolton's Jay Spearing was sent off late on as the Trotters held promotion hopefuls Derby in the north west and Reading missed a stoppage time penalty at St Andrews as they lost 2-1 to Birmingham.
