Gale eyes storm

Charles NZogbia celebrates with team mate James McCarthy after scoring to make it 1-0 against Everton

Tony Gale gave Sky Sports News HD his match predictions for Survival Sunday .

Relegation rollercoaster will be something to savour, says Tony Gale

Survival Sunday will be a straight-up shoot-out to see who can avoid joining West Ham in the Championship. There's just one point between Wigan, Blackpool, Birmingham, Wolves and Blackburn and all remain at risk ahead of the final day drama. Who is in pole position to cling onto their Premier League status? Our expert Tony Gale gave his predictions to Sky Sports News HD...

Stoke v Wigan
4pm, red button and online

Wigan go in with a proper chance. You look at Stoke and you think: Are they going to be up for this game? The attitude of the Potters this year has been incredible. Every game they've played, particularly at the Britannia, has been terrific - but I just feel this game might be one too far and I fancy Wigan to get something. The Latics' win over West Ham could've gone either way. It was a fantastic game of football. Charles N'Zogbia capped what was a magnificent match-up between two sides in a relegation battle. I think N'Zogbia's a proper player. I think he could play for a top four side - he can play down the middle, down the right or down the left. The way Wigan play suits him down to the ground because he can float around the front three. I think the Wigan fans will be happy with my prediction... I think Wigan will get something - but Stoke's never-say-die attitude will ensure it's not all three points. Gale's prediction: Stoke 1-1 Wigan

Manchester United v Blackpool
3pm, Sky Sports HD1

I think it'll be difficult for Blackpool for the simple fact that although Manchester United have already won the Premier League, there'll be players coming in who are playing for Champions League final places - not necessarily in the team but on the bench. The side that Sir Alex Ferguson puts out - as we've seen against Schalke - will still be a very good side and nobody can have any complaints about it. Yes, Blackpool have a decent chance, yes they'll attack the game and they'll enjoy it, but I just feel they'll come up short against United, who have too much strength in depth. I just think the Tangerines may score the odd goal but United are more than capable of scoring themselves. I'm just a bit worried about their discipline at the other end. Gale's prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Blackpool

Tottenham v Birmingham
4pm, Sky Sports HD2

Birmingham's away form has been really poor but last week I saw them at home to Fulham and watched them evaporate before my eyes. They conceded from a corner and never got out of it. There was nobody challenging Brede Hangeland when he scored. I thought Fulham were excellent on the day but Birmingham looked nervous and tired and it suddenly looks it's been a long old season for them. This game could be one game too far and it's a tall order for the Blues because they'll be depending on other results. Alex McLeish hasn't had a lot of help from the owners in the transfer market - it's probably the smallest squad in the Premier League. Cameron Jerome was injured last week and they missed his strength and pace. He maybe lacks a little bit of quality in front of goal but they miss his all-round game dearly when he doesn't play and I think they'll struggle at White Hart Lane. Gale's prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Birmingham.

Wolves v Blackburn

Mick McCarthy has changed Wolves about and put Stephen Ward back up front - it's worked. I think Wolves deserve to have more points and be further away from this relegation battle. I think they're a decent side. Last week against Manchester United, Blackburn got a good point and it could be the point that saves them. They got their goal maybe against the run of play and then had a great chance in the second half - a victory would have seen them safe but it remains a valuable point. It's a day to remember in the Premier League and with all the phoney scorelines coming out of the stands, I can see both sides getting something out of this. Gale's prediction: Wolves 1-1 Blackburn. Gale's relegation prediction: Birmingham and Blackpool
