Derby mascot Rammie the Ram appeared to accuse Norwich's Moritz Leitner of diving after taking a theatrical tumble in front of the home fans

Derby's Rammie the Ram has become the latest mascot to mock an opposition player with a diving stunt.

The incident, which brought back memories of when Watford mascot Harry the Hornet fell in front of Wilfried Zaha in 2016 after the Crystal Palace forward was booked for simulation, happened during Derby's 1-1 draw at home to Norwich.

Rammie took exception to a free-kick awarded to Moritz Leitner, after the midfielder was judged to have been fouled while trying to hold the ball in the corner.

Derby manager Frank Lampard was visibly unhappy with the referee's decision, and Rammie quickly followed suit by throwing himself to the ground in theatrical fashion, much to the amusement of the home crowd.
