Spanish striker seals loan switch
Derby County have completed the signing of Spanish striker Alberto Bueno on a season-long loan deal.
The highly-rated forward, who was in attendance as the Rams draw 2-2 with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, arrives from Real Valladolid.
All the relevant paperwork required to complete the capture has been processed and the 22-year-old has now joined up with his new team-mates at their training camp in Marbella.
"We're delighted to welcome Alberto to Derby County," manager Nigel Clough told the club's
official website.
"It's a real coup for us that we've managed to bring him here. A lot of hard work has gone into this deal and it is great news we've managed to secure his signature because other teams across Europe were interested in him.
"He is going to need time to adapt to the English game, but we believe he will bring something to our team and make an impact."
Bueno is a product of the famed academy ranks at Real Madrid and has represented Spain at U17, U19, U20 and U21 level.
