A trip to the Liberty Stadium against relegated Swansea City is Preston's first away game of the season and they play another former Premier League club in their following game as they entertain Stoke City on August 18.

Hull City are the visitors to Deepdale on Boxing Day and Preston end the campaign away to Brentford at Griffin Park.
