Tony Pulis demands reaction from 'flat' West Brom at Everton

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has demanded an immediate reaction to the defeat at Newcastle from his players when they face Everton on Saturday.
The Baggies lost 1-0 at Newcastle last weekend, and Pulis was not impressed with their performance. They knocked Peterborough out of the FA Cup midweek, in a penalty shoot-out.
His team are 14th, just six points above the relegation zone ahead of the tricky trip to Goodison, and they have failed to win in their last five Premier League games.
In the home game against Everton in September, West Brom were 2-0 up but lost 3-2, and Pulis expects another tough afternoon.
"We did very well against them earlier in the season, played well for an hour, but conceded a goal and they won again from 2-0 down," he said. "It's the strongest Everton squad they've had in a long time and we know how difficult it is going to be. They are a good side.
"We've had lots of draws and that's been the biggest problem. The Newcastle game was a real disappointment for us. We were very flat. We didn't play anywhere near what we can play. We need our best players fit and then we can win games. The performances have been decent but we need results."
Saido Berahino - who Pulis rates as the best player at the club - has been in and out of the team following issues with form and fitness.
But he played in the second half of the defeat at Newcastle and the whole of the Peterborough game.
Pulis says that although the striker's issues on and off the pitch have had a big impact on the team, he is hoping Berahino plays a big role in ensuring their survival.
"Saido is nowhere near as fit and sharp as what we want him to be. We played more than half a season without our best player," he said. "Hopefully with him playing some games and training to his maximum we can get him to a level that will help us until the end of the season."
The cost of tickets has been a major talking point this week and Pulis says he would like to see tickets for away fans capped at £10.
"I think next year with the enormous amounts of money coming in, there should be a way of looking after the supporters," he said. "I think every club should agree a price for the away supporter and make it as cheap as possible.
"So if we are playing Man Utd at the Hawthorns we know we'll sell out, but agree that when we go to Old Trafford we have the same amount of tickets at the same price - a price that will attract people to go. Everyone should agree to it. If United came here we'd charge them £10 to come and they'd charge us £10 to go there.
"I'd love to see more away support at games. I'm a great believer in that. And younger people will go, parents will take their kids to Old Trafford."
