Baggies keeper in Turkey to finalise reported £1.5m transfer

West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Scott Carson admits he is 'looking forward' to a new start as he prepares to finalise a move to Bursaspor. Carson is currently in Turkey to put the finishing touches to a reported £1.5million switch to Bursaspor after deciding to end his three-year stay at West Brom. The England keeper has made over 110 appearances for the Baggies since joining from Liverpool, but endured a mixed last season with the Premier League club. He is now ready for a fresh challenge at Bursaspor, who have former Rangers striker Kenny Miller on their books, and Carson has been impressed by the size of the club. "I am really surprised how big this club is," the 25-year-old told the Turkish media. "The facilities are as good as I've been used to anywhere and I'm really excited. It's a new challenge and I'm joining a brilliant club which has a family atmosphere. "It's been a bit overwhelming, I couldn't believe how many photographers and cameramen turned up. "I'm just looking forward to a new start now."
