Wolves have signed Legia Warsaw winger Michal Zyro on a three-and-a-half year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old, who has four Poland caps, will be available to Wolves boss Kenny Jackett as soon as the transfer window opens on January 2.

Zyro's contract with Legia, where he started his career as a teenager, was due to expire at the end of the campaign.

He was part of the squad that won the Ekstraklasa in 2012-13 and also has two Polish Cup winners' medals to his name.

"Michal has completed his medical and will join us when the transfer window opens," Jackett told the club's official website.

"He is left footed, 6ft 3in, and, with his physique and his power, can play in any of the four forward positions.

"Most of his time has been playing 4-3-3 - either wide right or left - and he is strong in the air. He is a Polish international who will be a very good addition to our front line."
