Hoddle blessing for Seol trip
Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle is happy for Seol Ki-Hyeon to return to South Korea.
Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle is hoping that South Korean star Seol Ki-hyeon will benefit from a trip back home. The 27-year-old striker has struggled for form in recent weeks, and has been left out of the squad entirely for the last two Championship games.
He is now returning to South Korea to play a friendly against Angola, but, unlike other managers concerned about a long trip at a vital stage of the season, Hoddle believes that Seol could rediscover his best form while he is away.
"The international game and the change might do him good. It could prove the key to get him back into good form," the former England manager told Wanderers' official website.
"I had a chat with Seol and told him what he's got to do to get back to his best form. When he's in form, he's difficult to play against.
"Four or five weeks ago he was finding it, but he has come down from there since. We can't do it for him - he needs to take responsibility and do it himself."
