Winger gets another 12 months at Molineux
Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that they have taken up an option to extend the loan of Geoffrey Mujangi Bia by a further season.
The 20-year-old winger joined Wolves in January on loan from Charleroi along with Adlene Guedioura.
Wolves sealed a permanent deal for Guedioura earlier in the week and now they have moved to extend Mujangi Bai's deal until the end of next season.
Mujangi Bia made just two first-team starts during his stay, but he did enough to earn a longer deal.
"I'm delighted that Geoffrey is staying for another year. He is an exciting young player whose short time with us has been interrupted by niggling injuries," said Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
"I thought that he was impressive the other week against Portsmouth until he had to come off at half-time, and he has looked sharp when he has played for the reserves.
"I'm sure he is going to benefit from being involved in the pre-season with us."
Meanwhile, the club have confirmed that Segundo Castillo has returned to Red Star Belgrade after his loan and they will not be seeking to extend it further.
