Wolves stopper looking forward after Toon thrashing

Defender Christophe Berra is backing Wolves to respond to their heavy defeat at Newcastle when they host Everton this weekend. The Midlanders were beaten 4-1 at St James' Park last Saturday in what Berra claims was a rare aberration from them. And the Scotland centre-back has urged his team-mates to recover when they entertain the Toffees on Sunday. "Newcastle was just one of those where we had seven or eight players who didn't perform to the levels we could and that doesn't happen too often," Berra told the club's official website. "But we'll put it behind us and look to the future. "All the previous encounters we've had (against Everton) over the last couple of years have been draws so it could be another tight game." Wolves are currently second-bottom of the Premier League with seven games remaining, but Berra insists his side are not hitting the panic button. He said: "It's going to be touch and go between now and the end of the season because it's so close and there are never any easy games in the Premier League. "We've just got to worry about ourselves and take it one game at a time."
