Wolves boss Terry Connor insists he was pleased with how his side battled against Manchester United despite the 5-0 defeat.
Connor, whose side have now sunk to the bottom of the table on goal difference, saw his men slump to defeat at Molineux thanks to goals from Jonny Evans, Danny Welbeck, Antonio Valencia and a brace from Javier Hernandez.
But Connor felt his men were equal to United for the first 20 minutes, at which point they took the lead.
He also admits the sending-off of Ronald Zubar, shortly after United's opener, was crucial.
"It was very tough, a man sent off and that makes it doubly hard against United but for the first 20-minutes I thought we were very much in the game," Connor told
Sky Sports.
"The opening 20 minutes we were Man United's equals, and second-half 3-0 down and ten men on the pitch I thought they did very well and never stopped trying to take the game to Man United.
"We just have to keep going, we got beat today by Man United and there is no disgrace, sure you don't wont to get beat by five but there are attachments to that.
"We have to keep going and keep fighting, we go to Norwich next week and when we arrive we will be ready again.
"The lads gave everything today and when we had 11 on we were equal to them, but the lads kept going bravely and showed their fighting qualities."
Connor admits that he had no complaints with Zubar's red.
"I have no qualms about that, both were rash and he didn't need to make them, he has held his hands up but you can go around making two mistakes," he said.
