Saint that romantic... Southampton help fan woo girl who sits near him at St Mary's

Southampton made a great start to 2015 - but for one lucky supporter the victory over Arsenal was made even sweeter.
That's because he managed to track down a girl who had caught his eye... with a little help from the club.
The fan, known simply as Tim, sought advice from the club after being too shy to talk to the girl in person, tweeting them before Christmas asking for her name. Southampton, however, were unable to hand out the girl’s personal information.
Instead, Southampton released a video in which mascot Sammy Saint gave the besotted fan some pointers, suggesting that Tim should offer to buy the girl a drink at the next game.
Ahead of kick-off a Bovril voucher, a good luck message from the mascot and a bunch of red roses were placed at Tim’s seat for him to give to the girl.
Southampton legend and Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier even got involved, tweeting ‘#GoodLuckTim’ prior to Thursday’s 3pm kick-off on the south coast.
This point was echoed by the club as good luck messages and support were posted on social media before the game.
The pair were pictured speaking at their seats during the game and, after the 2-0 victory over the Gunners, Tim took to Instagram to confirm the plan had worked a treat, thanking the club for their matchmaking expertise.
Accompanying a photo of the girl and himself, Tim said: “Thank you to Southampton FC. She didn’t like the Bovril but loved the flowers #WingMan #Saintsfc.”
Southampton seemed pleased with their work and tweeted: “We’re proud of you, @_timcorn. Our work here is done. #WellDoneTim.”
