Thomas Sorensen insists he is fully committed to Stoke City and has assured manager Tony Pulis he is not looking to leave.
The Danish keeper signed a new contract at the Britannia Stadium in the autumn, but has been linked with a January move away from the club.
Bayern Munich have been strongly linked with a bid for Sorensen, while Pulis had been trying to bring in Portsmouth keeper David James on loan.
However, Sorensen has moved to reassure supporters that he intends to stay at Stoke and will not quit the club during the transfer window.
"I'm fully committed to Stoke and I'm not going anywhere," said Sorensen.
"I had two meetings with the manager last week and I gave him my word that I wasn't going anywhere."
Stitched up
Sorensen was recently quoted as saying he would find it hard to refuse an offer from a bigger club, but he has accused the media in his homeland of 'stitching' him up.
He added: "There's been a lot of rubbish that's been said, the Danish press have stitched me up big time. And all the rumours they're still spreading, it's just shocking, so I think I've finished speaking to them.
"It's all rubbish and I'm really annoyed about it because I'm fully committed to the club, and then all this comes out and it puts a strain on everyone.
"If you read the original interview, I said I wanted to stay at Stoke and all the other things weren't on my mind, I just wanted to do well here.
"Someone has twisted that and made it into something else. It's just shocking."
