Ipswich v Sheffield Wednesday preview: Championship clash live on Sky Sports Football

Ipswich Town v Sheffield Wednesday

Ipswich will be without Jonas Knudsen through suspension for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday, live on Sky Sports Football from 7.30pm on Wednesday.

The Denmark defender serves a one-match ban after picking up a fifth booking of the season against Hull, but Tommy Smith should be involved after returning from international duty with New Zealand.

Prutton's prediction

This should be an interesting clash at Portman Road between two sides who have differing styles of play. Ipswich have plenty of firepower and would fancy their chances against any side in the division on their day, and I'll say again that Mick McCarthy doesn't get the credit he deserves.

This could swing either way, but Sheffield Wednesday generally pull out a result whenever they really need to and I think Carlos Carvalhal's side will nick all three points.

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (17/2 with Sky Bet)
