Sheffield Wednesday have offered professional contracts to striker Nathan Modest and four other academy products.
Strikers Modest and Vadaine Oliver and midfielders Liam Palmer, James Cottingham and Jack Barnett are all hoping to make the step up to reserve-team football next season.
Modest, 17, made his first-team breakthrough during the 2008/09 season while Palmer has been included in the senior squad this season but has yet to make his debut.
Palmer, who can also operate in central defence, was recently voted the Owls' young player of the year.
