Jones will not rush midfielder back

Cardiff boss Dave Jones will not rush Joe Ledley's return after he was informed he could return to training. It was feared Ledley would miss the rest of the season after undergoing hip surgery in January. However, Cardiff's medical staff have given Ledley the all-clear to begin running and the Wales international has set himself a target of two to three weeks to return to action following operations on both hips. Jones revealed Ledley is on 'cloud nine' at being told he can return to training, but the Bluebirds boss will not take any risks on his long-term fitness. "Joe is on cloud nine at the moment because it's good news for him and he's happy, and that helps because there's a spring in his step," Jones told the club's official website. "I think Joe has set himself a target but we've still got to be careful. There was a lot of bone shaved off and we have to be sure that's fully healed. "He won't be pushed, he'll be back when he's ready."
