Highlights of Plymouth against Accrington from the Sky bet League 2.

League Two pace-setters Plymouth needed a superb winner from Reuben Reid to beat Accrington 1-0 at Home Park.

The win keeps Derek Adams' side three points clear at the top of the table following four league wins in a row.

Reid took his tally to four goals in three league games with a 64th-minute volley which gave Stanley keeper Jason Mooney little chance as Accrington failed to successfully clear substitute Graham Carey's free-kick.

Argyle's ace hobbled off in the 74th minute, injured in assisting the home defence as Accrington stepped up their bid for a leveller.

Sean McConville twice hit the woodwork for the in-form visitors and was thrice denied by Luke McCormick, including a magnificent 86th-minute save at the foot of the post that the home keeper could have only seen at the last second.

McConville's first volleyed effort came back off the angle of the bar and post midway through the first half while a measured 25-yard drive beat McCormick on 70 minutes, only to bounce out off the underside of the bar.
