Plymouth have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Ruben Lameiras on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old Portuguese, who most recently played for Coventry, becomes the second new arrival at Home Park this summer after last week's acquisition of Lionel Ainsworth.

Lisbon-born Lameiras joined Tottenham when he was 10 years old and signed professional forms at Spurs in 2014, when Juande Ramos was manager of the Premier League club. He featured for the under-21 side but never made a first-team appearance.
